Abstract
This article describes the difficulties which Hebrew-speaking students with learning differences face when learning English as a foreign language in Israel. It considers ways of identifying these students and describes methods used for providing support in foreign language learning. This includes an account of how the Israeli Ministry of Education provides for these students. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
