Facing Responses to Cellphilm Screenings of African Girlhood in Academic Presentations

Abstract

This chapter emerged from an experience I had after presenting at a roundtable session during a recent American Educational Research Association (AERA) Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, IL. Roundtable formats are meant to “allow maximum interaction among presenters and with attendees” (AERA, 2015, p. 5).
