Abstract

Karawang Regency is one of the West Java Province areas with excellent potential in aquaculture fishery production, particularly milkfish production. However, the local community needs to optimize the fishery product by increasing added value. The identification results showed that the milkfish processing industry is still underdeveloped, especially after the economic downturn due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, the main problem faced by business actors in the milkfish processing industry is the problem of capital. For this reason, the community service activity focuses on efforts to solve capital problems for industrial business actors through facilitation and mediation activities with financial institutions. The community service team suggested the need for regular coaching activities, more intense and consistent solving of capital problems, and proactive efforts to implement financial inclusion policies
