Abstract
Three-dimensional porous Ni3S2 electrode directly grown on nickel foam has been synthesized via a novel one-step solvothermal approach. Electrochemical tests show that the porous electrode exhibits enhanced lithium ion storage capacity and good rate performance. After 70 cycles at various rates, the reversible capacity could be recovered to 540mAhg−1. The superior performance could be assigned to the unique three-dimensional structures, which limits the volume variation and improves the transport of electron and electrolyte effectively.
