Abstract

Herein, we report an amine modified silica/reduced graphene oxide (AMS/RGO) hybrid composite sorbent was successfully synthesized by an extrudation process for CO2 adsorption with very simple and effective manner. Firstly, RGO was synthesized and confirmed by the following analysis, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern and transmission electron microcopy (TEM). Then, AMS/RGO was synthesized by constrained growth methodology. The prepared composite showed with excellent sorption capacity (15 wt%) and good selectivity towards CO2.
