Abstract
Abstract cis-Dioxo (tetraphenylporphyrinato)molybdenum(VI) [MoVI(O)2(tpp)] (tpp=5,10,15,20-tetraphenylporphyrinato) is easily prepared by the pyrolysis of the corresponding diperoxoporphyrinato complex [MoVI(O2)2(tpp)] releasing dioxygen gas at 200 °C under 10−3–10−4 Torr (1 Torr≈133.3 Pa).
