Abstract

This study presents a straightforward synthetic pathway for the preparation of through‐space charge transfer (TSCT) molecules, utilizing an IDID core as the donor, connected to double bridges. The IDID core, known for its enhanced donor properties, incorporates two sites that facilitate a concise synthetic approach for the introduction of bridges in the acceptor‐donor‐acceptor design. Computational studies played a pivotal role in guiding our design, predicting favorable energy levels and TSCT characteristics. Experimental validation of TSCT characteristics was achieved through measurements of photophysical properties.
