Abstract
A strategy to synthesize mesoporous SrTiO3 and BaTiO3 powders by using in situ inorganic carbonate pore-makers was reported. The carbonate pore-makers are stable at high temperature and can support the target mesostructures. The other important role of carbonate is to inhibit the growth of crystals, thus improving the porosity of the desired mesostructures.
