Facile Electrodeposition of MoOx onto Gold Microwire Electrode: Application to Voltammetric Determination of As(III) under Mild Conditions

Abstract

Abstract Molybdenum oxide (MoOx) was electrochemically deposited onto the surface of a Au microwire electrode in a simple manner. The MoOx-Au microwire electrode exhibited effective and sensitive determination of As(III) under mild conditions. No obvious interference from Cu(II) on the determination of As(III) was observed since the response of Cu(II) appeared at a more positive potential.
