Abstract
In 1938, Chemist at Work series, coordinated by Roy I. Grady and John W. Chittum, presented personal accounts by 24 chemists in a variety of vocations. The contributors described their work and provided insights into the necessary educational and personal qualifications. The series is very relevant to the 2007 National Chemistry Week theme, Many Faces of Chemistry.
