Abstract

The manufacture of Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) polymer fiber with a concentration of 8%, 10% and 12% by electrospining method. The electrospiration process was carried out by varying the distance of the needle tip to the collector electrodes of 10cm, 12.5cm and 15cm fibers which were operated at DC voltages varying from 10kV, 12.5kV and 15kV. The results show that there is a connection between the shape of the fiber made by the variation of the distance of the needle tip to the collecting electrode and the voltage variation.
