Abstract

In this study, the Ti3+/TNS(TiO2 nanosheet arrays)-CZTS (Cu2ZnSnS4) photocatalyst had been designed and synthesized through a simple and effective method. The characteristics of microstructure showed that p-type CZTS nanoflowers are evenly distributed on the surface of n-type TNS after Ti3+ modification, forming CZTS/TiO2 p-n heterostructure. The photocatalytic activity of Ti3+/TNS-CZTS for methyl orange (MO) degradation was obviously better than that of TNS, with an elimination rate of 80% after 120 min. The excellent photocatalytic performance of Ti3+/TNS-CZTS may be ascribed to the doping of Ti3+ and the synergistic effect of CZTS/TiO2p-n heterojunction, which can narrow the band gap and inhibit the electron-hole recombination. Therefore, the study of Ti3+/TNS-CZTS photocatalyst in this paper provides new insights for the development of wastewater treatment and hydrogen evolution in the future.
