Abstract

TiO 2 has wide applications in chemical industry. In this manuscript we describe the ordered TiO 2 nanoribbon arrays fabricated by electrospinning. A modified collector with a pair of split electrodes was employed to collect the TiO 2 nanoribbon arrays during the electrospinning. The morphology and the structure of the resulting arrays were analyzed by scanning electron micrograph. It was found that the morphology of the aligned TiO 2 ribbon arrays could be controlled by the spinneret geometry and the applied voltage. The ordered degree of the aligned TiO 2 nanoribbon arrays could also be controlled by the environmental relative humidity.
