Abstract
Al-ZrW{sub 2}O{sub 8} composites have been successfully fabricated using pulse current sintering followed by an adequate heat treatment. Wet mixing has produced the structural homogeneity and anisotropy of Al-25vol%ZrW{sub 2}O{sub 8} composites. Moreover, the thermal expansion of the obtained composites has been investigated. (orig.)
