Abstract
A novel ZrO2 particles modified QCM sensor was fabricated by a self-assembly method, and used for detecting the atomized dimethyl methylphosphonate (DMMP) aqueous solution. The ZrO2 particles morphology had a change from block to strip by one-step hydrothermal synthesis, and the size of particles became more uniform. The results showed that this QCM sensor had a special ability to resist the effects of water on detection sensitivity and the ability to identify misty DMMP with short response time (20 s), fast recovery (40 s), good reusability, high stability, and low detectable concentration (reaching 0.375 ppb). this work using the atomized DMMP aqueous solution as the detected substance had an excellent practical application, in which the ambient air is taken as the purge gas and the detection result of the atomized pure water is used as a reference.
