Abstract

Regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl)-modified C60–ethylenediamine adduct microparticles film and corresponding references were fabricated using a combination of liquid/liquid interfacial precipitation and spin-coating. The photoexcitation properties of these composite films were evaluated through fluorescence spectra, which suggest that the C60–ethylenediamine adduct microparticles film enhance the fluorescence of poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl). Larger photocurrents were observed when using the composite film of poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl) and C60–ethylenediamine adduct microparticles film compared to those obtained using poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl) alone.
