Abstract
SiNWs/organic heterojunctions were fabricated using different polymers like perylene, PEDOT:PSS, rGO-PEDOT:PSS and the electrical property of the as-fabricated heterojunctions were analyzed with the help of J-V characteristic curve. Vertically aligned arrays of SiNWs were successfully grown on the surface of n-type Si substrate by following a two-step electroless etching method which was further confirmed by the SEM characterization. The structural properties of the polymers were characterized with the help of X-ray diffraction (XRD). Among the three different SiNWs/organic heterojunction, SiNWs/rGO-PEDOT:PSS showed an excellent J-V characteristic property in dark as well as under the illumination of 1 sun. The incorporation of rGO into PEDOT:PSS improved the electrical property. The current paper aims to analyze the different properties of SiNWs/organic heterojunctions for its application in various optoelectronic devices.
