Abstract

The requests for collaboration for the latest issue of DYNA 2018 (year 93 / No. 6), focused on the concept of Advanced Manufacturing / Industry 4.0 has achieved a response of considerable breadth, which has allowed not only complete this issue, but continue its publication in the current and subsequent. For this reason, in spite of the interesting work received, we have considered it appropriate to make a few small reflections. The advanced countries agree on the relevance of Manufacturing as a basic pillar in the industrial fabric and on which many other services focused on industry are based, such as design, logistics, research, consultancy, machine tools, computing, communications, training, etc.
