Abstract

A 69-year-old immunocompetent woman visited the ophthalmology clinic with a pink peduncular mass on the left lower eyelid margin, which was present for > 10 days. On examination, a 2 × 2-mm pink peduncular mass was observed on the left lower lid (A, asterisk). No history of papilloma, human papillomavirus infection vaccination (HPV), or eye injury was reported. The patient declined treatment for papilloma, including oral medications. She subsequently obtained the HPV 9-valent vaccine on her own accord, and after 2 doses of vaccine, (B) the papilloma spontaneously resolved within 2 months.
