Abstract
The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between hours of television watched per week and eye‐hand coordination among preschool children in a middle class suburb. Other variables included home arts and crafts activities, I.Q., age, and preschool experience. Significant negative relationships were found between hours of television watched and eye‐hand coordination as well as the number of home crafts. Significant positive relationships were found linking both home crafts and nursery school experience to increased eye‐hand age. Nursery school experience was also significantly related to I .Q.
