Abstract
AbstractOil and Gas (MIC: 14.2 SIC: 2911 NAIC: 324110)ExxonMobil through its affiliates is primarily engaged in the energy business, involving exploration for, and production of, crude oil and natural gas, manufacture of petroleum products and transportation and sale of crude oil, natural gas and petroleum products. Co. manufactures and markets commodity petrochemicals, including olefins, aromatics, polyethylene and polypropylene plastics and a variety of specialty products. Co. also has interests in electric power generation facilities. Affiliates of Co. conduct extensive research programs in support of these businesses. Co. has several divisions and hundreds of affiliates, many with names that include ExxonMobil, Exxon, Esso or Mobil.
