Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) has becomein recent years a safe and efficient treatment formost patients with symptomatic severe aortic stenosis,regardless of the risk group to which they belong. Thetransfemoral access (TF) has been largely responsiblefor this success and has become the “gold standard”, inaddition to being the most frequently used.
