Abstract

Liver magnetic resonance imaging revealed a well-defined mass in segment VI, VII and VIII that showed low signal intensity on a T1-weighted image and high signal intensity on a T2-weighted image (Figure 1). Hematological indices, liver function, and renal function were within normal limits. After immunohistochemical staining, the histological examination of the liver biopsy disclosed plasmacytoma of the IgG kappa type that was CD138 positive (Figure 2A and 2B).
