Abstract

In this paper, the modified extended direct algebraic technique is used for determining new and various traveling wave solutions to the coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE) with Kudryashov's law of nonlinearity. This model describes the propagation of optical solitons through magneto-optic wave-guides. Various solutions such as dark solitons, singular solitons, hyperbolic solutions, singular periodic solutions, rational solutions, Jacobi elliptic solutions and Weierstrass elliptic function solution are raised. To demonstrate the physical behavior of the obtained solutions, 3D and 2D graphs are introduced.
