Abstract
The objective of this work is to characterize evolution of the similarities in the dynamic of epileptic seizures, using non invasive EEG. A comprehensive method is presented and applied to temporal lobe epileptic seizures. It is based on the degree of correlation between scalp electrodes at seizure onset, determined by a nonlinear regression analysis. Results show that reproducible patterns may be extracted from different seizure of the same patient and confirm the existence of different subtypes of temporal lobe epilepsy.
