Abstract

With the growth of the installed scale, the output fluctuation of renewable energy will gradually become one of the main factors affecting the safe and stable operation of the power grid. A fixed value is often used to describe the output of renewable energy, such as the simultaneous rate. However, it isn't easy to accurately describe the scenarios of renewable energy output in the new energy power system. To this end, this paper first investigates renewable energy's temporal and spatial characteristics: divides renewable energy by region and extracts historical data by season. Then, it summarizes the principle of CLIQUE clustering and adds the threshold of sparse density. Moreover, a two-dimensional renewable energy output data space is established. The paper proposes a method of extracting output interval by improved CLIQUE clustering and gives the clustering extraction process. The example verifies that this method can effectively describe renewable energy's uncertain output scenarios.
