Abstract
In this article, we successfully extracted HA/β-TCP biphasic calcium phosphate from the marine fish bones (Hairtails) by various temperature calcinations. By characterizing, we confirmed that β-TCP was obtained from the calcined products of Hairtails, and the relative content of β-TCP in fish bones calcined at 900 °C significantly increased. In addition, the mechanism of changing the composition ratio of BCP by heating was also discussed. Hairtails as a raw material was used to prepare biphasic calcium phosphate ceramics can be well applied to clinical medicine.
