The Grenville province of Canada can be traced into northwest Ireland and France, and the Dalslandian province of Scandinavia can be correlated with the Carolinidian province of northeast Greenland. This configuration would suggest that little wrench faulting (total displacement less than 200 km) has occurred within the Caledonian orogen. This content is PDF only.
