Background: Aggressive odontogenic tumors usually have infiltrative behavior and, therefore, great possibility of recurrence. Large block resection is the treatment of choice, with the purpose of removing the entirety lesion and minimizing the chance of recurrence. This type of approach leads to a great esthetic, physiological and psychological dysfunction, which leads to the need to reestablish the lost anatomical segment.
