Extensions to maps on the cantor set with dense orbits

Abstract

Each continuous surjection from a closed and nowhere dense subset D of the Cantor set X onto D has a continuous extension ƒ: X→ X such that ƒ∣ X−D is a homeomorphism from X−D onto itself and for each xϵ X−D the orbit of x is dense in X.
