Abstract

We construct models with N = 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 space-time supersymmetry in type II four-dimensional superstrings and analyze their moduli space. These models are obtained in the fermionic formulation and most of them can be reformulated as asymmetric orbifold compactifications. The massless sector of these theories is shown to be compatible with the symmetries of the extended supergravity lagrangians.
