Abstract

The extended $D=5$ super-Poincar\'e algebra with $4N$ complex spinorial charges and maximal number of $2{N}^{2}\ensuremath{-}N$ central charges is introduced. The generators of central charges are obtained by the contraction of $\mathrm{SU}(2, 2; 2N)$ superalgebra. The possible reductions of internal-symmetry $\mathrm{Sp}(n)\ensuremath{\equiv}\mathrm{U}(n; H)$ due to the presence of central charges are given. The additional $2{N}^{2}\ensuremath{-}N$ bosonic degrees of freedom defining $D=5$ extended superspace are introduced.
