Extended postpartum inpatient monitoring for patients with hypertensive disorders and risk of readmission

Abstract

To evaluate if extended monitoring for at least 36 hours (EM) of postpartum patients with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy with strict blood pressure goals of ≤ 150 SBP and ≤ 100 DBP would have a measurable effect on readmission rates for preeclampsia with severe features (PreE with SF).
