Abstract

In this paper, an application of extended non-minimal state space predictive control (ENMSSPC) is described. The algorithm is used to control the coordinated control system (CCS) of ultra-supercritical unit. First, the design of ENMSSPC is given, in which, input and output variables together with output errors are chosen as the state variables. Then, the property of ultra-supercritical unit and the difficulty of controlling it are discussed. In the end, a mathematical model is given to illustrate the performance of ENMSSPC in controlling the ultra-supercritical coordinated control system. Simulation results show the advantage and effectiveness of the proposed approach.
