Abstract

The extended finite element method is used for calculating eddy currents at high frequencies, which reduces the number of unknowns in conductive materials at these frequencies. In this study, a two-dimensional model is analyzed numerically, and the solution is compared with the numerical solution obtained by the conventional finite element method.
