Abstract

DMB BWS, a new mobile data service, comes into the spotlight owing to a friendly Web interface, a light-weight architecture, and low cost. Nonetheless, the GUI-based operation and the inefficient authoring lay a burden on mobile service users and contents providers. In this paper, we propose DMBWeb that complements and extends T-DMB BWS. DMBWeb exploits a voice user interface for the easy access of mobile users as well as a graphic user interface, separates a content document into data documents and presentation template, and is equipped with conveniences such as data input form and the automatic contents generation. This approach results in the convenience of mobile users and the productivity of contents providers.
