Abstract
Proxima Mobile is an industrial policy project whose genesis and development are described here. The objective was to support an ecosystem of mobile services. We start by a description of the different ways Proxima Mobiles services were designed for citizens, and follow with an analysis of the social, economic and industrial impact of mobile technologies and the role of the public sector as it adapts to the changing Internet.
