Abstract

The paper describes the level of intercultural awareness present in the written works and oral statements of Belarusian and Ukrainian students taking part in a Polish language course. The students’ task was to compare various phenomena in the other participants’ native culture and the Polish culture. Although the students were generally aware of cultural differences, they did not try to reflect on these issues more deeply.
