Abstract
Objective To observe the expression of glucocorticoid-induced protein kinase 1 (SGK1) gene in human lung carcinoma.Methods The samples were obtained from 10 cases of lung carcinoma.Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Western blotting were used for analyzing the SGK1 mRNA and protein expression in 10 samples and adjacent noncanerous tissues.Results SGK1 mRNA and protein expression was not detected in 70％ of human lung carcinoma and 20％ adjacent noncanerous tissues (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion SGK1 expression is downregulated in human lung carcinoma tissue,which may play some roles in the pathogenesis of human lung carcinoma.
