Following recent issues with the reliability of the data in articles published by some of the authors of this article (See Bordewijk E.M., Wang R., Askie L.M., Gurrin L.C., Thornton J.G., van Wely M., et al. Data integrity of 35 randomised controlled trials in women’ health. Eur J Obstet Gynecol Reprod Biol. 2020; 249: 72-83), the editors decided to open an investigation for this article in the journal. The editors have written to both authors who could not supply original data. The authors have confirmed that they no longer have the raw data as the paper in question was published in 2010. The concern and this note will remain appended to the above-mentioned article, unless the parties provide the editors of European Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Biology with the raw data or other data that validates the results of the paper.
