Abstract

Objective To observe the expression of long non-coding RNA during denervation atrophy of the gastrocnemius muscle and explore its clinical significance. Methods Right gastrocnemius muscle denervation model was created in 48 Balb/c mice. The expression levels of long non-coding RNA in the gastrocnemius were detected by Real-time Quantitative PCR at 1, 3, 5, 7, 14 and 28 days. Results At different time points after denervation, expressions of Meg3, H19, linc-MD1, Malat1, Neat1, Nctc1 and SRA were detected. The expression levels increased first and then decreased during the 28 days after denervation. Conclusion The expression of lncRNA (Meg3, H19, linc-MD1, Malat1, Neat1, Nctc1 and SRA) has a close relationship with skeletal muscle denervation atrophy.
