Abstract

Objective To detect the expression of Kiss-1 and MMP-9 in gastric carcinoma and investigate,and it's role in the pathogenesis,development and metastasis of neoplasm.Methods The study included 54 cases of gastric carcinoma as experimental group and 11 cases of normal tissues as control group.The expression of Kiss-1 and MMP-9 in different pathological characteristics was detected by Flow Cytometry.Results Comparisons of the primary tumors of gastric carcinoma and normal tissues showed that there was a significant upregulation of MMP-9lymph node metastasis,which were negatively correlated with gastric carcinoma(r=-0.491 1,P<0.05).Conclusion Kiss-1 and MMP-9 may promote the development of gastric carcinoma.The expression of MMP-9 and Kiss-1 may be significant prognostic indicators.
