Abstract
"Express Preparation for the SAT." The Clearing House: A Journal of Educational Strategies, Issues and Ideas, 57(6), pp. 269–270 NotesA sound statistical study is R. A. Weitzman’s “The Prediction of College Achievement by the Scholastic Aptitude Test and the High School Record,” Journal of Educational Measurement 19 (Fall 1982). Both the College Board and the Educational Testing Service (ETS) have also published convincing, if less disinterested, studies of the correlation between SAT scores and college achievement. See, for example, S. F. Ford and S. Compos, Summary of Validity Data from the Admissions Testing Program Validity Study Service (Princeton: College Entrance Examination Board, 1977).
