Abstract
The intervalley scattering rate due to compositional fluctuations has an exponential distribution, which should be reflected in the distribution of no-phonon radiative decay rates of localized indirect excitons. This distribution has been observed in the luminescence decay curves of ${\mathrm{Ga}}_{1\ensuremath{-}x}{\mathrm{Al}}_{x}$ As near crossover.
