Abstract

This review paper highlights the potential of graphene nanocomposites for various applications in nanotechnology and focuses on the properties and applications of the graphene/CdS nanocomposite, which has shown enhanced properties and finds applications in diverse industries. This work discusses the incorporation of transition metals such as Ni, Cu, Zn, Mn, and Fe into graphene/CdS nanocomposites and their resultant properties, including increased surface activities, optronics, mechanical properties, thermal stability, and photocatalytic activity. This review provides valuable insights into the potential of transition metal-doped graphene/CdS nanocomposites for a wide range of applications.
