Abstract
After a prolonged 34years, Indian Education System is kindled again by the touch of NEP 2020. According to this policy the main motto of this system is to boost up humanity within mankind as well as nurture the pupils in such a way so they can ponder in a scientific way and this education system will also make them ingenious to create something unique. The goal of this system is not only to exacerbate the knowledge but also to build a firm and profound character along with comprehensive development so that our mother India can achieve another glorious feather in her cap as an equitable and vibrant knowledgeable country. NEP 2020 considers the teachers as an idealistic role model for the society. This policy has suggested several recommendations to enhance the innovative quality of teachers and it has also added that teachers are the soul of the whole education system. NEP 2020 calls for lessening the syllabus and making well rounded citizens of the 21st century. By adopting new transformative holistic, learner centered, discussion based, enjoyable, inquiry driven, flexible, etc., pedagogical approaches, teachers can ensure holistic development of their students. The whole study has a grandiose explanation regarding the role of teachers towards making an impeccable society by the holistic development of students. Therefore, the researcher has tried to give an outline about the role of teachers which is reflected in NEP 2020, to make a glorious India by giving profound knowledge as well as worthy principles to the students.
