Abstract

Human resource management, one of the core courses of business education has garnered much attention in the recent times. This course prepares students for bright careers in human resource and it is imperative that students in professional programs are able to put into practice on workplace what they have learned in the classroom. The present research explores the assessment and teaching strategies, academic performance, completion rate and perceived satisfaction of the course in the attainment of enhanced learning among the human resource management students. The research finding delivers an impetus to cultivate and embed the current practice of adapting the interactive process in curricula and develop departmental assessment strategies and learner-centred teaching practice to attain enhanced learning in the business program.
