Abstract

Abstract This paper explores the innovative development of digitization of Chinese sports intangible cultural heritage, focusing on applying advanced technologies such as three-dimensional reconstruction and movement recognition to protect and pass on this unique cultural heritage. The article digitally captures and analyzes traditional sports movements through 3D reconstruction and movement recognition techniques. Subsequently, a feature extraction method is applied to capture the critical features of the movements and Bessel curves are utilized to enhance the realism of the virtual character model. The experimental results show that this method can effectively recognize and reproduce traditional sports movements, with a recognition success rate as high as 97.05%, and accurately determine the standard degree of the movements. In addition, this technique helps to reduce training costs and improve training efficiency. Through these techniques, not only can the intangible cultural heritage of sports be preserved and inherited, but also promote its integration with modern science and technology and open up new ways for its development.
