Abstract

Abstract Date Presented 03/27/20 The purpose of this study was to develop evidence concerning the costs and benefits of hiring and accommodating workers with mental illness. We conducted interviews with accommodated workers, co-workers, supervisors and managers, and other workplace stakeholders within five organizations. The findings provide a compelling business case for hiring and accommodating people living with mental illness and suggest opportunities for OT practice.
