Abstract
Introduction Many national parks are located in areas of little or no habitation. The core issues in these parks are of an environmental nature: to protect then natural heritage, including plants, wildlife and other resources. In Őrség National Park, on the other hand, which is home to a number of farming communities, relations with the inhabitants is a serious consideration.
